FinanceBee is a smart financial management platform designed to help growing businesses track cash flow, OCR documentation, and financial planning. References to “we”, “us” or “our” throughout these Terms refer to FinanceBee and its operators.

To use FinanceBee, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of yourself or your business

By registering an account, you confirm that you meet all of the above requirements.

When you create an account with us, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your password with anyone or allow others to access your account.

You agree to notify us immediately at hello@financebee.co.uk if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your account secure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe it is being used in breach of these Terms.

We offer a free trial so you can explore the service before committing to a paid plan. The details of any applicable trial period, including its duration and limitations, will be made clear at the point of sign-up.

After your free trial ends, continued use of the service requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you choose. All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again after that date. We do not offer refunds for any unused portion of a subscription period unless required by law.

You agree to use FinanceBee only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others.

You must not:

• Use the service to commit fraud or any other criminal offence
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• Upload or transmit malicious software, viruses, or harmful code
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute any part of the Service without our written permission
• Use the service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its performance

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user who violates these rules, without prior notice.

FinanceBee syncs with major UK banks and third party financial services to provide you with real time data and automated reporting. By connecting your bank account or any external service, you authorise us to retrieve the relevant data on your behalf.

We use secure, regulated open banking connections where applicable. However, we are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third party service you connect to through the platform.

You should review the terms and privacy policies of any third party services before connecting them to your FinanceBee account.

FinanceBee is a financial management and reporting tool. The information, reports, and insights provided through the Service are intended for informational purposes only.

Nothing within the service constitutes financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. You should always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions. We accept no liability for decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

All content within FinanceBee, including but not limited to software, design, text, logos, and reports generated by the platform, is the intellectual property of FinanceBee or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the service without our express written consent. You retain ownership of any data you upload or input into the platform.

We take your privacy seriously. Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By using the service, you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

While we take all reasonable steps to keep your information secure, no system is entirely immune to risk. You use the service at your own risk, and we encourage you to take your own precautions such as using a strong, unique password.

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, FinanceBee shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Any inaccuracies in financial data retrieved from third party sources
• Service downtime or interruptions, although we aim for 99.9% uptime

Our total liability to you in connection with the service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

We aim to keep FinanceBee available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may occasionally take the service offline for maintenance, updates, or improvements. Where possible, we will give you advance notice of any planned downtime.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our business, or the service. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice within the platform.

Your continued use of the service after any changes take effect will be taken as your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and cancel your account.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@financebee.co.uk. Upon termination, your access to the service will cease and we will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may also terminate or suspend your access to the service at our discretion, particularly in cases of breach of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse of the platform.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
